Patrick Woods Harrison
Patrick Woods Harrison (“Woody”) was born on July 14, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Indiana University in 1968 with a B.S. degree in business. He served his country in the United States Army from 1968 through 1970. In 1972, Woody earned his law degree from Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis. He is a member the American Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, Bartholomew County Bar Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Directors 1984-present) and American Trial Lawyers Association.
Woody limits his practice primarily to personal injury and medical malpractice. Woody has earned significant recognition in his field and is listed in the Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in Business and Finance, and Who’s Who in American Law. Furthermore, at the age of 38, Woody was nominated by the Indiana Judicial Nominating Committee to serve on the Indiana Supreme Court. In 1999, he was awarded Trial Lawyer of the Year. In 2005, Woody, along with fellow partner Jeff Beck, received a $2,600,000.00 verdict, the highest jury verdict ever awarded in Bartholomew County. Woody has also been a regular presenter at Indiana Trial Lawyer Association seminars.
Woody is very active in the College Park Church of Columbus. When he is not working or involved with the church, Woody enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Woody married his wife, Becky, on December 23, 1967. They have two children, Heather Dryden and Heath Harrison and three grandchildren, Willem, Molly, and Rachel.
