History
The seeds of what became the law firm of Beck Harrison, P.C. were planted in 1969, when Art Beck graduated from Indiana University Law School in Indianapolis and moved his family to Columbus to work with Leon Cline. In 1972, Art hired Woody Harrison to join the firm. Sadly, Leon Cline passed away in 1984. After losing their mentor, Art and Woody regrouped and started the firm, Beck Harrison, P.C., in 1985.
Art and Woody began their firm with the belief that clients are better served by attorneys who focus their practice. Therefore, Art limited his practice primarily to corporate law and estate planning. Woody limited his practice to litigating personal injury and medical malpractice claims. This dedicated focus, along with a commitment to clients that is second to none, has allowed Beck Harrison, P.C. to serve corporations and individuals in the Columbus area for over twenty years.
The firm hired Art's son, Jeff Beck, in 1997. Consistent with the firm's vision, Jeff has limited his practice to civil litigation, real estate and corporate law. In 2005, the firm hired Jeff Rocker, who limits his practice to estate planning, real estate and corporate law.
Beck Harrison, P.C. is able to provide excellent and attentive service to its clients due in large part to its experienced and professional staff. Eillene McClure and Dena Bohall have been paralegals with the firm since its inception in 1985. Abbie Cox and Carrie Lucas have worked as paralegals for over five years.
