Jeff Beck
Jeff Beck was born on September 10, 1970 in Columbus, Indiana. Jeff graduated from DePauw University in 1993 with a degree in English Composition and a minor in Sociology. He continued his education at the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis where he earned his law degree in 1997. During law school, Jeff clerked for the firm of Steers & Sullivan, P.C.; interned in the Legal Department of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management; and, began working for Beck Harrison, P.C in his third year. Jeff is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Bartholomew Bar Association (Secretary and Social Chair 2001-2003), Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and American Trial Lawyers Association.
Jeff limits his practices primarily to the areas of civil litigation, real estate, and corporate law. The highlight of his litigation career occurred in 2005 when he and fellow partner Woody Harrison received a $2,600,000.00 verdict, the highest jury verdict ever awarded in Bartholomew County. In addition to litigating personal injury claims, Jeff also litigates in the fields of real estate and corporate law. Jeff utilizes this litigation experience in advising clients on matters ranging from real estate transactions to corporate acquisitions.
Outside of the law practice, Jeff has volunteered as an assistant football coach for Columbus North High School and currently serves as an assistant coach in the Parks and Recreation little league soccer program. Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Youth and the Columbus Area Arts Counsel. Recently, Jeff was recruited to serve on the Vision 20/20 Economic Development Committee for the City of Columbus.
Jeff married his wife, Sara, on October 2, 1999. They live in Columbus with their three children Madeline, Lucy and Ryan.
